The Cold Storage

“And he said, Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.” Matthew 13:52 My daughter and I were out to lunch the other day, and she asked me a question: Mom, howContinue reading “The Cold Storage”

The Cake-Walk

“They must not live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me. If you serve their gods, you will be caught in the trap of idolatry.” Exodus 23:33 NLT One of my favorite restaurants here in my hometown is the Brick Street. My husband calls it, Chick Street because it tendsContinue reading “The Cake-Walk”
