Creativity is my go-to hobby for fun and as a stress reliever! Painting for fun certainly fits the bill:)

Anne Farnum | Folk Artist | Greenville, South Carolina
Welcome to the artwork of Anne Farnum, a Greenville, South Carolina artist inspired by the beauty of God’s creation, the charm of folk art landscapes, and the quiet moments that make life meaningful. Through expressive color and thoughtful composition, Anne creates paintings that bring warmth, peace, and joy into homes and gathering places.
Whether capturing peaceful coastal scenes, inviting folk art, vibrant florals, or treasured everyday moments, each painting is created with the hope of encouraging others to slow down, reflect, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds them.
Thank you for visiting. I hope my artwork brings you as much joy as I experienced while creating it. Have I mentioned I LOVE PAINTING! More than 30 years ago, my friend Dana invited me to her house. She introduced me to learning how to paint folk scenes. That moment got me started on this fun and relaxing journey. Over the years, I have created countless pictures. Now that I am “retired,” I have more time to explore my passion for folk art with color. Which one is your favorite?

A joyful folk-art inspired painting featuring three colorful birds surrounded by whimsical flowers, leaves, and berries. Bright, playful colors and intricate botanical details create a warm, cheerful piece full of charm and personality.

I love them!! I want to commission a pretty winter snow house scene for Christmas next year – if you’ve already given that one away. I also love all the hydrangeas!! 🩷

Love your artwork. Thanks for sharing it. I like your use of color in many of them and definitely have some favorites. I just did a folk art project with some of my students. I should share your work with them.
