A Parisian Game of Chicken!
Living in Paris, one of the most challenging things for me was knowing when I could act like I did stateside and get away with it and when that behavior would never work. This story is about a situation where I found my southern stateside behavior would never work!
A New Perspective
I want to introduce you to my guest blogger and friend Vanessa Vannoy. I first met Vanessa in 2012 when I moved to Paris. I quickly found a Bible study where about 20 or so women from around the world met weekly to learn more about the Bible and how to do life. Vanessa was our faithful Bible teacher and leader. Two Lions
In 1941 a photograph was taken of Winston Churchill. The picture is now famous and is entitled, The Roaring Lion. The photographer portrayed Churchill’s essence beautifully. He sat sternly and seemed to have a roar; this image captured all of that.
